ALI ERGIN - DESIGNER AND ARTIST

He was born in 1980, in Ankara.

Finished highschool, TED Ankara College. 1997

Graduated from Bilkent University,Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. 2003

Master in Domus Academy, Interior and Living Design, Milano, Italy. 2005

PHD in Hacettepe University Ankara, Turkey. 2019

 

While he was a student he started working in Atabas Architecture and after the graduation he continued working for 2 more years. He got the scholarship in September 2004 for the Domus Academy in Italy and he finished his master education degree with “distinction” from the Department of Interior Architecture. After he turned back to Turkey, he started his PHD program in Hacettepe University where now he is a part-time instructor.

 

He worked in Atabaş Architectural company. While he is a master student in Domus Academy, he worked in Piero Lissoni’s office as intern designer and he worked with the famous designers like  Fabrizio Lepore, Mario Trimarchi, Michele de Lucchi in Domus Academy. He made some designs for the famous companies as Fnac, Camper, Natuzzi in Italy. He was one of the founders of we360design and worked there for two years as a design manager.  He was one of the co founders of Ayaz Ergin Interiors. Starting from Jan. 2019 he is working in his own London based company Ali Ergin Design Studio LTD.
